![]() ![]() The storyline, alhough initially promising, was severely trimmed (I will never forgive them for discarding the Shattrath City raid). Patch 6.1 was a joke (the only new feature was the SELFIE camera). ![]() As the user above has said, there was literally nothing to do in WoD besides raiding. Objectively speaking, WoD was the worst expansion contentwise. I'm on the fence on this one, I think they were equally as bad. storywise, I guess SL had a worse story, although that being said there were plenty of moments in WoD which didn't make sense either (Grommash suddenly turning good and being welcomed as a hero by the people he tried to kill) which I think a certain missing raid would've filled in the blanks more. if you're basing it solely on content, then I guess SL wins purely because there was more to do. also, unlike the previous 2 expansions, the grinds in SL weren't endless like they were in BfA and Legion which I guess was a nice change? SL, following on from BfA and Legion, also suffered from "oh this is shit but don't worry we will fix it in the final patch" problem (Torghast, Azerite Armor, world boss rotation, alt friendliness). Then we have Shadowlands which had the same amount of raid content as WoD but had the added benefits of world quests, mythic plus, covenant sanctum special features. WoD also introduced things like Timewalking and other weekly events, so that must also go into it's plus column the content we got was good, but yeah it lacked a bit there. WoD's main issue was as you said a lack of content and I would add the fact that you could literally stay in your Garrison and not leave for almost the entire expansion. ![]()
